About Zach

Hello. My name is Zach and I am passionate about helping individuals develop a deeper relationship with God.

IZach Cn the book An Invitation To A Journey, M. Robert Mulholland Jr. defines spiritual formation as “The process of being conformed to the image of Christ for the sake of others.” When we begin to look deeper into what God desires for our lives, we discover that spiritual formation is not about us, it is all about others.

About Me:

I grew up in Olympia, Washington where I was raised in the church. While in high school I felt called by God to pursue full-time ministry. After graduating from high school, I attended Northwest Nazarene University, in Nampa, Idaho. I graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors in Pastoral Ministry. During my time at NNU, I also met my wonderful wife, Laura.

After graduating, Laura and I got married. We then lived abroad for a year in Taipei, Taiwan. While there, we taught English and helped at Faith Church Of The Nazarene.

In the fall of 2009, we moved to Kansas City for a year. In 2010, Laura and I answered the call to ministry in Roseburg, Oregon and served at Roseburg Church On The Rise for five and a half years.  During which,  I graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a MA in Spiritual Formation, in May of 2013,.

In November of 2015, my family and I moved to Idaho and I started as the youth pastor at Valley Shepherd Church Of The Nazarene, in Meridian, Idaho.
