(Optional Reading: Isaiah 55:1-3)
For today’s post from 30 Day With Wesley, I simply want to let God’s word speak to you. This is the beautiful thing about the Holy Spirit. Each one of us could read the same passage and each get something different from it. I want to give space for the Holy Spirit to speak to you today out of today’s optional reading. I pray you hear and respond to what God might want to share with you today.
“All of you who are thirsty, come to the water!
Whoever has no money, come, buy food and eat!
Without money, at no cost, buy wine and milk!
Why spend money for what isn’t food,
and your earnings for what doesn’t satisfy?
Listen carefully to me and eat what is good;
enjoy the richest of feasts.
Listen and come to me;
listen, and you will live.
I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
my faithful loyalty to David.”
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those
who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial,
and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours,
now and forever.
